A tribute to Brian de Palma’s cinematic masterpiece, BODY DOUBLE embodies a reflection on everyday objects and utensils, these hostages of our daily lives that can disappear from view, willing victims of their own banality. Yet these usually frozen archetypes remain, visually ubiquitous. Their versatility is realized in this vase project. Separable into two pieces, BODY DOUBLE, once divided, reveals new facets and a dual use as either a wall-mountable or standard stem vase. Both totemic and bipolar, whatever the flower arrangement.
