Since its appearance at the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2013, the one-piece sofa, ULTRA SOFA, affirms its singularity by its spirit of total break with the traditional codes of outdoor furniture. Until now, the ULTRA SOFA was only a prototype but the radical concept designed by Frédéric Sofia for Fermob will be launch during Maison & Objet in Paris, in September 2015. Imagined as an autonomous and mobile platform to place anywhere outside, ULTRA SOFA successfully infiltrates the explosive outdoor furniture market through its line including a Sofa, a Daybed, an Ottoman Armchair and a Coffee Table. Alone or placed together, each piece offers multiple alternatives in every moment of life, covering a wide range of possible scenarios. On top of being visually stunning, the line is also technically savvy, with the frame and seat coming in on piece, an air wired base, and foams and fabrics specially selected to withstand the UV-rays and inclement weather conditions. Whilst set up for sitting, lying or hanging out, the ULTRA SOFA range offers a trio of colors and multiplies all possible postures which adapts to everyone and their own desires. YS
